BRIDES Signs With VISIBLE NOISE RECORDS

January 13, 2009

Brighton, U.K.-based crossover quartet BRIDES has inked a deal with Visible Noise Records. for the release of the band's debut album, "Ocular.Unveil".

Boasting BRIDES' trademark duelling vocals and a positive slew of ambition and honesty, "Ocular.Unveil" was produced and recorded at Outhouse Studios, Reading by John Mitchell and Ben Humphreys (YOUMEATSIX, ARCHITECTS, ENTER SHIKARI) and will see a U.K. release on March 23.

Though only 18 months young, BRIDES is shaping up as one of the U.K's most intriguing new bands. Since its formation in May 2007, the band has already shared stages with the likes of A WILHELM SCREAM, GALLOWS, ARCHITECTS, DEVIL SOLD HIS SOUL and YOUR DEMISE, BRIDES' own eclectic musical character allowing them to simultaneously fit their feet to any bill whilst standing out as bold and unique.

A striking and highly dynamic blend of punk, metal, prog, post hardcore and straight up rock, BRIDES draw as much influence from HOT WATER MUSIC and A WILHELM SCREAM as they do from MEW or MISERY SIGNALS, confidently overlaying styles usually kept separate to create an elaborate yet accessible concoction.

BRIDES is:

Max D'Albiac - Vocals
Jon Barmby - Drums
Tristan Macfie - Vocals, Guitars
Ant Whittington – Bass
