BROOKLYN MILITIA Featuring Former WHIPLASH Members: Debut Show Announced

BROOKLYN MILITIA, the new thrash/hardcore/punk/metal band featuring former drummer Joe Cangelosi, vocalist Glenn Hansen and bassist Richard Day, will make its live debut on Friday, April 5 at The Acheron venue in Brooklyn, New York.

"Best To Be", the first demo track from BROOKLYN MILITIA, is available for streaming below.

Says Cangelosi: I'm very excited to get this band off the ground; it only took three years! With so many ups and downs, people flaking, lineup changes and overall dysfunction. we finally have a complete lineup and we are gearing up to play our debut show to open up the flood gate to the future of BROOKLYN MILITIA. I want to thank everyone for their support and patience."

The band is currently writing and demoing material for its debut album, tentatively due in early 2014 via an as-yet-undetermined record label.
