BRUTALITY: Deal With STILL DEAD PRODUCTIONS A No-Go

March 28, 2003

Reunited Tampa death metallers BRUTALITY have backed out of their previously announced plan to sign a one-album deal with Poland's Still Dead Productions. No reason was given for the change of plans. The group are still intending to enter the studio in May or June to record a four-song EP, due later in the year through an as-yet-undetermined label. In related news, BRUTALITY side-project ASTAROTH, who were also originally due to record an album for Still Dead Productions, are set to record an EP of their own during the coming months. The group, whose musical style is said to be similar to that of old Swedish bands like CARNAGE, UNLEASHED and old ENTOMBED, are currently looking for a drummer to sit in on the band's upcoming recording sessions. Interested parties who live in the Tampa Bay, FL area, have their own transportation and drum kit are urged to call 813-933-2312. Race/age/sex is unimportant.
