BRUTALITY Guitarist Dead

May 17, 2005

According to a post on the official BRUTALITY web site, guitarist Mausolus Arguelles Von Kiszka has died. No cause of death was disclosed, only that he "has made the journey to the other side."

As previously reported, BRUTALITY recently disbanded after Poland's Still Dead Productions "completely backed out of their end of the deal" to release the band's next album, according to a post on the group's web site. The band's final recording lineup was as follows:

Scott Reigel - Lead Vocals
Jeff Acres - Bass/Vocals
Mausolus Arguelles Von Kiszka - Vocals/Guitars
Demian Heftel - Lead Guitars
Jim Coker – Drums

A three-song demo was completed in June 2003 with the above lineup containing the songs "As Darkness Falls", "I Deny", and "Ashes and Snow". All three cuts, along with "Brutality" and "Gates of Thorn", were expected to be re-recorded for the album.
