BRUTALITY: Recording Sessions Delayed

March 4, 2004

Reunited Tampa death metallers BRUTALITY have pushed back the projected recording dates for their as-yet-untitled new album to late May/early June. "A big 'I'm sorry' goes out to all the fans that really have longed for this release," the group write on their web site. "There is a lack of cooperation within the band itself that is currently being resolved. [We] can assure you that the album will be out."

As previously reported, the group's recording lineup will consist of the following:

Scott Reigel - Lead Vocals
Jeff Acres - Bass/Vocals
Mausolus Arguelles Von Kiszka - Vocals/Guitars
Demian Heftel - Lead Guitars
Jim Coker – Drums

Former drummer Don Gates has also been working on a new song with the band and is expected to contribute to the upcoming CD.

A three-song demo was completed last June with the above lineup containing the songs "As Darkness Falls", "I Deny", and "Ashes and Snow". All three cuts, along with "Brutality" and "Gates of Thorn", will be re-recorded for the album. A late 2004 release through Poland's Still Dead Productions is expected.
