BUCKCHERRY Confirmed For Japan's SUMMER SONIC FESTIVAL

According to a posting on the Izzy Stradlin (ex-GUNS N' ROSES) fan site izzy.34sp.com, reunited Los Angeles hard rockers BUCKCHERRY have been confirmed for the Summer Sonic Festival, set to take place August 13-14 in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan.

BUCKCHERRY — whose current lineup includes IZZY STRADLIN & THE JU JU HOUNDS bassist Jimmy Ashurst — will release their third album in Japan later this summer. The follow-up to 2001's "Time Bomb" was produced by guitarist Keith Nelson. A U.S. record deal for the new album has yet to be announced.
