Bulgarian Author Pens Book About Late QUEEN Frontman
September 20, 2007According to the Focus News Agency, Bulgarian philologist Vera Evtimova from Veliko Tarnovo has penned a book about QUEEN frontman Freddie Mercury. Entitled "Freddie Mercury – More Alive Than Ever", book was written over a three-month period and is dedicated to the thousands of innocent victims of AIDS.
Vera Evtimova has been writing for more than 10 years. Her new book about the late Princess Diana is expected on the market soon.
According to QUEEN guitarist Brian May's official web site, this year's Vodafone Live Music Awards will see the presentation of the second Freddie Mercury Lifetime Achievement Award to punk-rock veteran Iggy Pop. The awards ceremony will take place on September 19 at Brompton Hall, Earls Court, London, and will be televized in the UK on Channel 4 at 11 p.m. the same evening. Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor will not be attending the event.
