Bulgarian Fans May Get Chance To Meet DEEP PURPLE

August 30, 2007

SofiaEcho.com reports that several Bulgarian fans may gt a chance to meet legendary rockers DEEP PURPLE in person during the band's visit to Bulgaria.

The group's concert will be held in Sofia's Zala Festivalna on November 1. It will commemorate the first anniversary of Z-Rock Radio, Avtora.com reported. The concert is part of DEEP PURPLE's "Rapture of the Deep World Tour".

Z-Rock program director Spas Shouroulinkov said that the station was currently negotiating with DEEP PURPLE's manager for a possible meeting between fans and the band.

The concert is planned without warm-up bands, but the organizers had negotiated for "special surprises" for DEEP PURPLE's fans in Bulgaria, Avtora.com said.

Z-Rock representatives said that they hoped the band would include something special in its concert because of the radio station's anniversary, but it was "too early to say."
