January 28, 2009

Bassist Jason "Jay" James of Welsh metallers BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE was interviewed earlier this week by Andrew Haug of Triple J's "Full Metal Racket" (based in Australia). Listen to the interview in streaming audio at the Triple J web site: Windows Media, Real Media (NOTE: The Jason "Jay" James interview begins around the 36-minute mark). BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE has been confirmed as one of the main-stage performers at this year's Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival tour, which is scheduled to kick off in early July. The trek will be headlined by SLAYER and MARILYN MANSON, with a yet-to-be-announced "special guest" (strongly rumored to be KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, who are unable to announce their participation due to their involvement with the Music As A Weapon IV tour this spring) also making an appearance on the same stage.

BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE's new album, "Scream Aim Fire", has sold 274,000 copies in the United States since its January 2008 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
