BURN IN SILENCE To Enter Studio With Producer KEN SUSI

December 19, 2005

Boston-based BURN IN SILENCE will be entering the studio on December 20 with producer Ken Susi (UNEARTH, INVOCATION OF NEHEK, BEYOND THE EMBRACE) to begin recording their Prosthetic Records debut, entitled "Angel Maker". The session is expected to wrap on January 15.

Commented BURN IN SILENCE guitarist Mike Casavant: "This will be our third time recording with the wonderfully charismatic Ken Susi and I can't wait. He's an awesome guy and he's always got something stupid to say to make you feel really relaxed and comfortable in the studio. The music has already been produced, ripped apart, trashed, and changed by us, and we want Ken to kick our ass to get an awesome performance out of us."

Casavant added: "This album is going to showcase a lot of different styles, be that metal, hardcore, death, progressive, thrash, melodic, black metal or whatever. We really want to take what our forefathers have done, and take it to another level."

Upon completion of recording, Tue Madsen (HIMSA, THE HAUNTED) will mix and master "Angel Maker" at his Antfarm studio in Aarhus, Denmark. An April 2006 release through Prosthetic Records is expected.
