BURNING THE MASSES: 'Mind Control' Release Date Announced

September 8, 2008

San Diego, California-based deathcore quintet BURNING THE MASSES will release its debut album, "Mind Control", on October 28 through Mediaskare Records. The CD was produced by Stephen Hawkes (EXOTIC ANIMAL PETTING ZOO) in Seattle and was mixed by Logan Mader (DIVINE HERESY, CAVALERA CONSPIRACY) in Los Angeles.

BURNING THE MASSES comments: "This band started just to give us an outlet to jam out, have fun and to inspire the next generation of kids to play heavy music. We slowly started realizing we had something special as we grew more into the music itself. Our style could be vest described as really fast, technical death metal/metal with mildly progressive groove beats. We tend to try to throw the listeners ear off when they listen to our songs and try to make it unpredictable. It's just fun for us. We also feel that our music has a lot to offer and we want to reach out to more than just one group of fans. We want our music to appeal to all crowds."

Having toured the U.S. multiple times already, the band has built a solid fan base across the country that it will be connecting with again throughout 2008 with tours already lined up in October/November with BORN OF OSIRIS.
