BURST: New Album Title Revealed
April 22, 2008Sweden's BURST has entered Studio Bohussound (STATUS QUO, ABBA) in Kungalv, Sweden to record its new full-length album, "Lazarus Bird". The follow-up to 2005's "Origo" is once again being recorded with engineer Fredrik Reinedahl (OPETH, IN FLAMES, GADGET). Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "I Hold Vertigo", "We Are Dust", "Momentum", "Nineteenhundred", "Cripple God", "We Watched The Silver Rain" and "I Exterminate The I". A fall release via Relapse Records is expected.
BURST spent the greater part of 2007 writing and rehearsing material for "Lazarus Bird". The band commented, "We are confident that the end result will be worth all this work and end up in an album that we feel is the absolute most accomplished effort weve ever been able to squeeze from our system."
BURST's second video from its acclaimed "Origo" album, for the track "The Immateria", can be viewed below. The clip was shot in Stockholm, Sweden with director Robinovich of Robinovich Productions.
