BUSH Frontman GAVIN ROSSDALE Names New Band
July 2, 2004BUSH frontman Gavin Rossdale has announced the name of his new band as INSTITUTE. In a posting at the BUSH web site, Rossdale said in part, "I have recorded 14 tracks for my record. The plan is to do three more in about a month so I am writing now. The plan is to go to (New York) in August to get it all done. The band is called INSTITUTE and so far, it has been great making it."
The CD, which features songwriting and production contributions from HELMET mainman Page Hamilton, doesn't sound much like BUSH, according to Rossdale. A late 2004 release is expected.
