November 17, 2008

German metalcore act CALIBAN has posted the latest episode of Caliban TV featuring footage from the band's trip to the legendary Batu Caves in Malaysia. The group says, "We hope you enjoy the episode as much as we did visiting the Batu Caves. If you watch this special episode until the very end, you will get a surprise; be sure to not miss it!"

CALIBAN is currently working on it seventh album for a tentative March/April 2009 relese via an as-yet-undisclosed label. According to the band, the new songs are "going to turn out a lot more somber compared to the last [CD]!" The artwork will be created by Basti Basti of CALLEJON, who has previously worked with such bands as HEAVEN SHALL BURN and WAR FROM A HARLOTS MOUTH.

CALIBAN's sixth album, "The Awakening", was released in North America on October 23, 2007 via Century Media Records. The CD was produced by Benny Richter and was originally issued in Europe on May 25, 2007 via Roadrunner Records. The album peaked at number 36 on the German album charts. A limited digipak edition was released, which also came with a bonus patch.
