CANNIBAL CORPSE: Classic Albums Reissued On Vinyl

February 11, 2016

Florida-based death metallers CANNIBAL CORPSE are going back in time to commemorate some classic titles: "Butchered At Birth", "Eaten Back To Life", "The Bleeding", "Vile" and "Tomb Of The Mutilated". As part of the Metal Blade Classics series, these albums are now available on vinyl in limited quantities at: metalblade.com/cannibalcorpse. An exclusive poster is also included with each LP.

Starting tomorrow, CANNIBAL CORPSE will pillage its way through North America with fellow Floridian death metal progenitors OBITUARY as direct support. The over month-long trek, presented by The Noise, will run from February 12 through March 20. Additional support will be provided by CRYPTOPSY and ABYSMAL DAWN.

CANNIBAL CORPSE's latest album, "A Skeletal Domain", sold 8,800 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 32 on The Billboard 200 chart. The band's previous CD, "Torture", opened with 9,600 units to land at No. 38. This figure was in line with the first-week performance of 2009's "Evisceration Plague", which entered the chart at No. 66. CANNIBAL CORPSE's 2006 CD, "Kill", debuted at No. 170 after shifting more than 6,000 copies.
