CANTATA SANGUI: Lineup Changes Announced

Finnish act CANTATA SANGUI has parted ways with vocalists Kari Husa and Anna Pienimäki and has announced the addition of Suvi Grym of VANGUARD/DEEPSNAKE fame. According to the band, Suvi "will take over the lead-singer duties while the rest of us will provide background chanting support."

CANTATA SANGUI released its debut album, "On Rituals and Correspondence in Constructed Realities", in January 2009 in Europe and March 2009 in the U.S. via Season of Mist.

According to the group's official bio, CANTATA SANGUI is "an avant-garde approach gothic/black/doom metal band with guitar parts played by variety of four-, five- and twelve-string bass guitars. Originally formed as a two-bass-guitar-and-drums fusion music trio, [the band] eventually reformed as a more gothic/metal group."
