CARCASS: More Footage From U.K.'s DAMNATION Festival Posted Online

December 6, 2008

More video footage of CARCASS's performance at this year's Damnation Festival, which was held on Saturday, November 22 in Leeds, U.K. can be viewed below (clips uploaded by Darren Richardson a.k.a. Mendes Soze).

CARCASS bassist/vocalist Jeff Walker recently told the Brazilian edition of Rolling Stone magazine that he would like to record a new studio album with the band. Speaking to the Metal Exiles web site, guitarist Bill Steer echoed those sentiments, saying, "[Recording a new CD] is a possibility. We will not say certainly because we will be out for awhile but we are open for the possibility. We do not want to get people hyped up then disappointed but we will see what happens. I would be up for it because it was a good atmosphere and I think we are playing better than ever." Asked which direction CARCASS would go in on a hypothetical new album, Bill said, "Just off the top of my head it would continue from where we were with 'Heartwork'. There is no point in trying to get back to that place because we are much older and everything is different now."
