CARNAL FORGE: Demoing New Material

January 2, 2006

Bassist Lars Lindén of the Swedish thrashers CARNAL FORGE has posted the following message on the group's official web site:

"Well, since last time I wrote, lot of shit has happened behind the scenes... I got a new job that has been kinda absorbing all of my time, Jari [Kuusisto, guitar] started studying again... I got married and had a month of holiday... etc. etc., a lot of personal shit for all of the guys to take care of that has slowed us down a little... but we haven't been all lazy...

"We have been recording demos with new stuff... experimenting with recording... writing more songs, but then we also recorded a demo with GODHATE and one album with TWINBALL... and they were delayed... Stefan [Westerberg] had to jump in as a session drummer for 8 FOOT SATIVA from New Zealand when they made their new album at Studio Underground... we have also moved to a new rehearsal place where we will have our own studio next to our rehearsal place... But there is still some construction to do... We plan to record our next album there, and we've been chatting with Andy Sneap about mixing..."

CARNAL FORGE's follow-up to "Aren't You Dead Yet?" (2004) will be the group's first with singer Jens C. Mortensen (LEECH, REVOLVER, SLAPDASH),who replaced Jonas Kjellgren in 2004.
