CASANOVA: Debut Album Reissue To Include Seven Bonus Tracks

March 11, 2010

Tribunal Records has set an April 13 release date for the reissue of the 1990 self-titled debut album from the German hard rock band CASANOVA.

Though CASANOVA may not have become a household name in the '90s hard rock scene, it wasn't for a lack of great songs and drive to succeed.

CASANOVA's roots began in such classic and esteemed German hard rock/heavy metal bands such as MAD MAX and WARLOCK.

Formed in 1990 when WARLOCK super-producer Henry Staroste brought Michael Voss and Michael Eurich together, CASANOVA's debut album eventually sold 170,000 copies.

"Casanova" has been out of print for years and was never actually released in the United States until now. With supplies diminishing over the years, the price of obtaining an original copy of "Casanova" has skyrocketed to prices exceeding the $100 mark. So with it being the band's 20th anniversary, Tribunal has decided to present a new deluxe edition of the album which includes not only remastered audio, but seven bonus tracks.

Points of interest:

* Features former members of WARLOCK and MAD MAX
* Contains 7 bonus tracks (five of which were never available outside Japan)
* Out of print for years/original version highly collectible
* Never released in the U.S. before now
* Limited edition of 1000 (CD only)
* Band celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2010
* First time all original 14 recorded album tracks compiled together
* All tracks remastered in 2010 by Jamie King
