CATASTROPHIC Prepare To Record Sophomore CD

Long Island/Tennessee-based CATASTROPHIC, featuring former OBITUARY guitarist Trevor Peres, are working on material for their sophomore full-length effort, which is tentatively scheduled to be issued through Metal Blade Records in late 2002 or early 2003. The band will reportedly lay down a couple of cover tracks during the recording sessions for the follow-up to last year's The Cleansing effort, including an as-yet-undetermined track from long-defunct Toronto thrashers SACRIFICE.
