CATHOLICON: 'Treatise On The Abyss' Album Out Now

Louisiana black/death metal band CATHOLICON has just released its third full-length album, "Treatise on the Abyss", via Negativity Records. Audio samples are available at the group's MySpace page.

"Treatise on the Abyss" was recorded at Noisefarm studio in Paige, Texas by Tim Bartlett, and was mastered by James Murphy (TESTAMENT, DEATH, OBITUARY) in Tampa, Florida at the Safehouse studio. The album features artwork by Finnish artist Juha Vuorma, who also did the artwork for the band's first album, "Lost Chronicles of the War in Heaven".
