CATTLE DECAPITATION Cancel Tijuana Show
April 10, 2005San Diego extreme metallers CATTLE DECAPITATION were forced to cancel their previously announced appearance in Tijuana, Mexico on Friday. In an April 8 post on the group's web site, the band write, "Our van broke down at the beginning of the CRYPTOPSY tour, and we had to ditch it in North Carolina and rent that stupid RV you may have seen us pulling up in recently. We're at a Pilot truck stop in New Mexico right now and are going to drive through the night to make it to the Anaheim gig at Chain Reaction. We're very sorry to those people that were going to come out to the show tonight. Sorry guys. Sorry Mario. We'll make it up with another show if that's OK. There's nothing we can do right now. We're over 900 miles away... We'll make it to Chain Reaction though."
CATTLE DECAPITATION's latest album, "Humanure", was recorded with producer Bill Metoyer (SLAYER, W.A.S.P., SIX FEET UNDER),and marks the recording debut with the group of drummer Michael Laughlin. The band parted ways with drummer David Astor in May of 2003 due to his inability to live up to the obligations of touring and regular necessities of the band.
