CATTLE DECAPITATION Frontman On 'Metal Injection Livecast'; Audio Available
September 17, 2009Vocalist Travis Ryan of San Diego extreme metallers CATTLE DECAPITATION was a guest on last night's (Wednesday, September 16) edition of Metal Injection's weekly live podcast, the "Metal Injection Livecast".
Fans were able to call in and ask Ryan questions or submit questions via a live ongoing chat. Travis also participated in "Death or No Death", the game show where you have to figure out which band names are real and which are fake.

CATTLE DECAPITATION recently parted ways with bassist Troy Oftedal due to "musical and personal differences." The band stated at the time, "There is no bad blood and we wish him the best of luck. Filling in on upcoming tours will be our friend Rahsaan Davis. You may have seen him on our recent tour as Troy left tour early due to a physical ailment."
CATTLE DECAPITATION will support SOULFLY on a U.S. tour in September/October. Also scheduled to appear on the bill are PRONG and MUTINY WITHIN.
CATTLE DECAPITATION recently shot a video for the song "A Body Farm". The clip was directed by the band's friend, DOWNSPELL vocalist Tyson Metruccio (who previously helmed BRUTAL TRUTH's "Sugardaddy" clip),and was shot right before CATTLE DECAPITATION's last two-and-a-half-month tour.
Metal Blade Records released a limited-edition, picture-disc vinyl version of the new CATTLE DECAPITATION album, "The Harvest Floor", on April 14.
"The Harvest Floor" sold around 1,700 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD debuted at No. 16 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
