CATTLE DECAPITATION, PSYOPUS Members Interviewed On 'The Governor's Ball'

Vocalist Travis Ryan of San Diego extreme metallers CATTLE DECAPITATION and guitarist Chris "Arpmandude" Arp of the Rochester, New York-based tech grindcore/hardcore outfit PSYOPUS were interviewed for this week's edition of "The Governor's Ball". You can download the program at this location.

Metal Blade Records released a limited-edition, picture-disc vinyl version of the latest CATTLE DECAPITATION album, "The Harvest Floor", on April 14.

"The Harvest Floor" sold around 1,700 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD debuted at No. 16 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

PSYOPUS's new album, "Odd Senses", sold around 800 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD debuted at No. 90 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart.

This spring, fans will have the chance to witness several of Metal Blade's youngest and brightest bands share the stage at venues across the U.S. Dubbed "Young Guns", the tour will include headliners PSYOPUS, who are joined by DIY touring vets ROSE FUNERAL, critically acclaimed shred heavy newcomers WOE OF TYRANTS, and Las Vegas' latest and brutal offering to the world of extreme metal, MOLOTOV SOLUTION.
