CELESTY Signs With SPINEFARM RECORDS

Finnish power metal band CELESTY has signed a worldwide deal with Spinefarm Records. The group will enter the studio this summer to record its fourth album for a tentative fall release.

CELESTY last November posted a 10-minute video clip featuring highlights from the band's October 24, 2007 concert at Rocktown in Helsinki. Watch it below.

CELESTY's third full-length effort, "Mortal Mind Creation", was released on October 30, 2006 via Dockyard 1. One song from the CD "Empty Room" has been posted on the band's MySpace page.

The follow-up to 2004's "Legacy of Hate", "Mortal Mind Creation" was recorded at Midas Studios in Vaasa, Finland with producer Sami "Hannu" Koivisto, who has previously worked with AMORPHIS, NORTHER, WALTARI and NICOLE.

CELESTY vocalist Antti Railio last year competed in the Finnish "American Idol"-style show called "Idols".
