Commented the band: "The recording process and the resulting product has us incredibly excited and satisfied beyond anything we could have envisioned for the band. We believe the combination of melodic power metal and bone crushing production of modern death metal not only will seperate us from the norm of power metal but also will enable us to branch out to those normally alienated from the style. It seems every element we wanted to have featured in this production has been achieved: crushing guitar and drum tone, insane tempo, revitalized modern shredding, and to top it off a superb vocal production. Artwork has been completed and will be revealed shortly."
CELLADOR have been confirmed for the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival on Sunday, April 30 in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Originally formed in summer 2004 by guitarist Petersen, CELLADOR was founded with the purpose of introducing aggressive European-style melodic speed/power metal to the Midwest USA, where the style is completely nonexistent and virtually unknown. CELLADOR spent the fall and winter months of 2004 writing and rehearsing, and began playing live by March 2005. In May, CELLADOR came out with the demo, "Leaving All Behind", which THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER guys passed on to Metal Blade owner Brain Slagel, after the band opened for them in Omaha. Impressed by their skill and musicianship, Brian Slagel offered the band a contract making them one of Metal Blade Records' latest signings.
