CELLOUT Part Ways With Drummer, Announce Replacement

Sweden's CELLOUT have parted ways with ex-AMARAN drummer Robin Bergh. Replacing Bergh in the group is ex-FATAL SMILE drummer Robin Lagerqvist. "Robin Lagerqvist fits the band like a glove, both as a person and as a musician," the band write in a statement.

CELLOUT recently had "amazing" radio chart success with the song "Flooded" on Rockradio.se, according to the group. "Flooded" reportedly stayed 10 weeks on the Tuesday Top Ten list, which is determined entirely by listener votes, and managed to hit the No. 1 spot. In addition, CELLOUT made it to Swedish National Radio show "P3 Demo" broadcast. "P3 Demo" aired a two-hour "best of " show where they played music from some of the "most interesting bands" this year, and CELLOUT were selected to close show with the track "Just What's Right".

In other news, CELLOUT singer Percy Mejhagen is one of the 15 participaters in in SVT's (Swedish national television) new production, called "Riket" (Swedish for "the Realm"),which is scheduled to begin airing this weekend (Saturday, Nov. 27). The show, which is reportedly expected to be the new "Survivor", has already been sold to a couple of countries even before it has aired in Sweden.
