CELTIC FROST Frontman: Chicago And Montreal Shows 'Were Magic'

September 27, 2006

CELTIC FROST frontman Tom Gabriel Fischer has posted the following message on his official blog:

"Twelve shows down, out of 47. All of the concerts here in North America have become truly unique events on many levels. And certain nights, such as the ones we were granted to experience in Chicago or Montreal for example, defy even that description. They were magic. We are encountering audiences that are so endlessly true to our cause and so very open to this group's work through the years.

"What is taking place here, right now, is something that will take time to properly digest. So many years underground in CELTIC FROST's rehearsal space, so many years of writing and recording the 'Monotheist' album, so much work to make this tour a reality.

"And now those who understand and believe are making it all worthwile."

In other news, photos from CELTIC FROST's performance at the Vic in Chicago on September 23 have been posted online at this location (pictures courtesy of Joe Lohr).
