CELTIC FROST Frontman Struggles To 'Retain Even A Small Measure Of Sanity'
November 16, 2006CELTIC FROST frontman Tom Gabriel Fischer has posted the following message on his official blog:
"All the events that have occurred within this band in the past five years... All the things undertaken and endured nonetheless. Astonishing and overwhelming. Unbearable to hear the final vivid chords of 'Synagoga Satanae' dissipate forever into the ether at the end of our last show in North America in 2006, this past November 11th. How can I possibly ever subsist without the mystery and enchantment this band conjures on stage every night? And yet how to live with it? How to retain even a small measure of sanity? It is the intensity and reality of this group's proceedings which keeps me from sliding into utter obliteration while at the same time providing the obliteration itself."
As previously reported, CELTIC FROST has announced new tour dates for Japan, beginning in January of 2007, as part of the "Extreme The Dojo" tour with Norwegian black metallers SATYRICON. This marks the first time that CELTIC FROST has ever toured Japan.
CELTIC FROST Japanese "Extreme The Dojo" tour dates with SATYRICON:

Jan. 17 - Osaka, JPN @ Club Quattro

CELTIC FROST's video for "A Dying God Coming into Human Flesh", a song taken from their first album in 13 years, "Monotheist", can be viewed at this location. The fascinatingly gloomy clip was filmed by up-and-coming Swiss director Jessie Fischer (no relation to singer/guitarist Tom Gabriel Fischer) in Zurich, Switzerland, in mid-August 2006.
