CELTIC FROST's 'Monotheist' Enters Greek Chart At No. 16
June 20, 2006According to Rockdetector.com, CELTIC FROST's comeback album "Monotheist" has just achieved its highest global chart position, entering the national Greek album charts at No. 16. Previously the album had charted at no. 41 in Switzerland, 67 in Germany and 194 in France.
Produced by HYPOCRISY and PAIN mentor Peter TÃĪgtgren, "Monetheist" was recorded by classic-era members Thomas Gabriel Fischer and Martin Eric Ain together with Franco Sesa on drums. For live work the band has pulled in Anders Odden (APOPTYGMA BERZERK, SATYRICON, CADAVER, MAYHEM) on second guitar.
Forthcoming live work includes shows at Helsinki's Tuska festival in July, Germany's Wacken Open Air and Norway's Hole In The Sky event in August. U.S. dates are projected for September.
