CEMETARY Mainman On New Album: 'This Monster Is Real'

Sweden's CEMETARY have completed work on their new album, "Phantasma", tentatively due in February. A message from CEMETARY mainman Mathias Lodmalm regarding the upcoming CD reads as follows:

"2004 was a year of tragedy and trauma. It was bad, so bad in fact that everything had to be put on hold and lips had to remain shut about the reasons why. The current trend amongst artist to air their personal biz in the faces of fans and media to get attention and coverage is something I loathe with a passion. I keep my shit to myself and the end that's what makes up a big part of my music. I put it down into the soundtracks, into my albums, not the fucking press.

"And that's that !

"So.

"I would like to thank the people that stayed on the team, remained true in their hearts and dropped in a line or two to the boy gone missing. Your love is all in me and all in 'Phantasma'.

"'Phantasma' has gone to the plant. It's quite unreal. I've lived and breathed this album for over 4 years, it's taken me on a journey in and out of this world. Through ghettos and swanky hotels I covered about 10 cities over 3 continents, from the U.S. to China! Anyway I slice it, some people are gonna hate this album for sure, it would be a failure if they didn't. On the other hand some people are already feeling it and flowing along, thanks.
