CENTURY MEDIA EUROPE Secure Distribution Deal For NEW HAWEN RECORDS

July 23, 2002

Effective immediately, Century Media Europe have secured a European distribution/marketing deal for Swedish label New Hawen Records. Century Media's European offices will handle the marketing and distribution for all New Haven titles exclusively, as well as handling promotion.

New Hawen is the label of "Wez" Wenedikter, who until last year ran the WAR Music label, and before that had been one of the founding partners in Wrong Again Records, the label which introduced the world to bands such as IN FLAMES, ARCH ENEMY, SPIRITUAL BEGGARS, NAGLFAR and EUCHARIST. His new label picks up with the same dedication to quality releases.

The first two releases hit the streets throughout Europe on August 19th, in the form of NAGLFAR's latest release, the Ex Inferis mini-CD, as well as the debut album from NONEXIST, the new full-time band of former ARCH ENEMY vocalist Johan Liiva (who sang on the band's first three albums),with a highly-talented line-up rounded out by ANDROMEDA guitar prodigy John Reinholdz and DARK FUNERAL/DEFLESHED drummer Matte Modin. Upcoming releases include the new mini-CD from ANDROMEDA (Final Extension),and the long-awaited third album from NAGLFAR, Sheol, as well as a new full-length ANDROMEDA effort and more surprises to come.

Both Century Media Europe and New Hawen are pleased to have worked out such a deal which means that these titles will now be available on a much wider international basis.
