CENTURY MEDIA Sign European Distribution Deal With EMI
June 25, 2005Long-running German metal label Century Media has switched its European distributor from SPV (with whom it has had a long-standing relationship for the past 18 years) to EMI. The new deal, which covers Europe and Africa, will officially take effect in July.
According to SPV head honcho Manfred Schütz, "Century Media decided to sign the new deal with EMI last week." Schütz went on to wish EMI luck in dealing with the new challenge. EMI is also guaranteeing to take care of returned CDs which are distributed by SPV until the end of their contract.
