CEPHALIC CARNAGE To Host Hometown Goat Roast

June 18, 2007

Denver's CEPHALIC CARNAGE and Independent Records are teaming up to host a goat roast to celebrate the release of CEPHALIC's brand new album, "Xenosapien". This free, open-to-the-public, event will take place this Saturday June 23, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. MST at the Independent Records parking lot (937 E. Colfax Ave.) where members of CEPHALIC CARNAGE and record store staffers will be on hand fire-roasting a whole goat. CEPHALIC CARNAGE will be available for signings and there will be tons of giveaways. Included in the items up for grabs are tickets to see CEPHALIC CARNAGE perform that evening at Cervantes as part of the "Summer Slaughter Tour". And anyone who purchases a copy of "Xenosapien" from Independent Records from 2:00 to 4:00 MST will receive a free autographed "Summer Slaughter Tour" poster.

"Xenosapien" saw its release on May 29 and the band has been touring in support of the album since mid-May. CEPHALIC CARNAGE is currently out with the "Summer Slaughter Tour" and are set to return to Europe in August for a run of dates with DYING FETUS and a handful of festival appearances.
