June 8, 2007

St. Louis-based death metal projects CHAINSAW ABORTION and MISANTHROPIC will issue a split album, "Industrial Strength Metal", on August 28 via Asylum Recordings. The release date was pushed back due to a change of recording studios.

To give everyone an idea of what's to come, the projects have posted two new tracks online. The CHAINSAW ABORTION (MySpace) track "Larvae Infested Cranial Cavity" and the new MISANTHROPIC (MySpace) song "Seething Reprisal" are available on the two bands' respective MySpace pages.

MISANTHROPIC and CHAINSAW ABORTION have opened for such acts as SIX FEET UNDER, VITAL REMAINS, VILE, HEMLOCK, ANAL BLAST, INSATANITY, SCUM OF THE EARTH, VAMPIRE MOOOSE, BYZANTINE, GIZMACHI, LOSA, DISMEMBER, DEMICRIOUS, THE ESOTERIC and GRAVE.
