CHAOSBREED Singer Injures Back, Band Cancel Finnish Gig
August 18, 2004CHAOSBREED, the new Finnish death metal supergroup consisting of drummer Nalle Österman (ex-GANDALF),bassist Oppu Laine (ex-AMORPHIS, MANNHAI),guitarist Marko Tarvonen (MOONSORROW),guitarist Esa Holopainen (AMORPHIS),and vocalist Taneli Jarva (ex-SENTENCED, THE BLACK LEAGUE),have been forced to cancel their previously announced appearance in Jyväskylä on Friday, August 20 after Jarva injured his back last weekend at a THE BLACK LEAGUE show in Oulu, according to a posting on the group's web site. "The band is sad and sorry for everyone who planned to see CHAOSBREED in Jyväskylä, but wishes to rescedule this show on a later date," the group write.
CHAOSBREED's debut album, "Brutal" (Century Media),was recorded at CCPC studio with producers Santeri Kallio and Niclas Etelävuori, and features guest appearances by ENTOMBED guitarist Uffe Cederlund and ex-ENTOMBED bassist Jörgen Sandström.
