CHAOSBREED To Utilize Fill-In Bassist For TUSKA Festival Appearance

Due to scheduling conflicts, Oppu Laine (ex-AMORPHIS) won't be playing bass for CHAOSBREED during the band's appearance at the Tuska festival 2004 on July 18 in Helsinki, Finland. "[Oppu] will perform with MANNHAI at Ilosaarirock on the very same day," according to a posting on the band's web site. "It proved impossible for Oppu to drive over 400 kilometers from Joensuu to Helsinki in one hour to be able to make the [CHAOSBREED] gig. Instead bass duties at Tuska will be handled by Janne Perttilä (of RYTMIHÄIRIÖ fame)."

As previously reported, CHAOSBREED recently issued a split 7" single with RYTMIHÄIRIÖ. CHAOSBREED's contribution consists of two brand-new songs and a cover of MASTER's "Funeral Bitch", recorded in March of this year. CHAOSBREED are tentatively planning on recording another split 7" single this summer with TO SEPARATE THE FLESH FROM THE BONES. More information will be made available soon.
