CHAOSWAVE: '10 Years Of Denial' Video Released

April 17, 2009

"10 Years of Denial", the new video from the Italian/Danish power-thrash metal act CHAOSWAVE, can be viewed below. The clip was filmed at a former mine site in Italy with Dutch director Richard Spierings (who has previously worked with ANOTHER MESSIAH).

CHAOSWAVE released its new album, "Dead Eye Dreaming", in Europe and Japan on March 6 via Silverwolf/SPV. According to the band, "the European and Japanese version [are] slightly different from the American version. Most importantly, it contains a different bonus track. Where the American CD version had a hidden track (cover song of 'No Limit'),the European/Japanese release includes a previously unreleased CHAOSWAVE song called 'From the Stare to the Storm'. This track was originally recorded as bonus for the 2005 debut album, but never was released."

"Dead Eye Dreaming" was mixed last year by Andy La Rocque (KING DIAMOND) and features a special guest appearance by Steve Smyth, former guitarist of NEVERMORE and TESTAMENT.

Commented Smyth: "I first heard CHAOSWAVE a few years ago while on tour with NEVERMORE, and absolutely loved that they had a heavy, progressive metal sound, combined with a male-female vocal duo that sound huge, and very unique together. Everyone in this band is a top-notch musician! I am very pleased to have been asked and contributed solos to the band's new album, which I believe is sure to snap many ears in their direction!"
