April 21, 2012

Christina Fulton, the former girlfriend of actor Nicolas Cage (with whom she has a son, Weston Coppola Cage) is producing and managing a Chicago-based all-girl metal band called DAUGHTER OF MAN. The group, which includes Camille McClellan on guitar and Franchesca Primo on drums, will be auditioning musicians this weekend at Music Garage in Chicago. More information is available on the flyer below.

Fulton is best known for her role as Nico, the lead singer of THE VELVET UNDERGROUND in Oliver Stone's "The Doors". She has appeared in over 17 films, including Brian De Palma's "Snake Eyes", Abel Ferrara's "Dangerous Games" and the independent film "Lucinda's Spell", which earned her an award at Slamdance.

On television, Christina became a fan-favorite as "the other woman" in Zalman King's controversial groundbreaking series "The Red Shoe Diaries". She was also seen on E! Television Network's reality show "High Maintenance 90210". As well, Christina is in the midst of developing her own screenplay.

Christina was previously married to Stian Thoresen, also known as Shagrath, frontman for the Norwegian black metal band DIMMU BORGIR.
