CHICAGO POWERFEST 2008 Announced

October 29, 2007

The sixth edition of the Chicago Powerfest will take place May 2-3 at the Pearl Room in Mokena, Illinois.

Commented festival organizers CRJ Productions: "We've been hard at work since the last fest trying to put together an amazing package of bands that cross a variety of metal genres so we can bring you the ultimate weekend of powerful metal! Things are shaping up quite nicely and we're looking forward to making our first announcement regarding confirmed bands (10-14 in total) in the coming weeks."

Tickets will be available for individual days as well as two-day passes, and the on-sale date will be announced once all bands are confirmed. Additionally, CRJ Productions is introducing an official fan sponsorship/VIP program this year that will give fans a higher level of participation in the fest and a chance to take advantage of some cool perks.
