CHICKENFOOT Taking Part In 'Best Buy Fantasy Football Challenge'

Best Buy, the leading U.S. consumer electronics retailer, has announced that American hard rock band CHICKENFOOT will be the celebrity participant in week eight of the Best Buy Weekly Fantasy Football Challenge.

CHICKENFOOT is comprised of ex-VAN HALEN members Sammy Hagar (vocals) and Michael Anthony (bass, alongside RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS drummer Chad Smith and guitarist Joe Satriani.

The Best Buy Fantasy Football Challenge offers football fans a chance to compete against a celebrity lineup to win prizes totaling more than $100,000 over the 17-week football season.

For every point by which participants beat the celebrity, they are granted one entry into the weekly prize drawing. Sweepstakes prizes include a 50" plasma TV, a laptop computer, an Xbox 360 console, a portable satellite TV and much more.

The team roster with the highest point total for a single week over the entire game period will receive the High Point Contest grand prize valued at over $5,000.
