CHILDREN OF BODOM: 'Almost Done' Recording New Album

May 12, 2005

According to an online posting by CHILDREN OF BODOM keyboardist Janne Wirman, CHILDREN OF BODOM are almost done recording their new album, "Are You Dead Yet?", for a September 19 release via Spinefarm Records. "We'll start on the keys [Thursday, May 12] and the vocals next week and start mixing maybe already end of next week," he wrote. "It's sounding great so far."

As previously reported, word has it that CHILDREN OF BODOM's world tour in support of their upcoming album will kick off next autumn in Japan, to be followed by the group's first-ever trip to Australia. From there the band will apparently return to Europe before embarking on a North American tour in early 2006.

CHILDREN OF BODOM's last full-length release, "Hate Crew Deathroll", came out in 2003.
