CHILDREN OF BODOM Frontman Schedules Montreal Meet-And Greet

September 18, 2009

Guitarist/vocalist Alexi Laiho of Finnish metallers CHILDREN OF BODOM will take part in a fan meet-and-greet on September 23 at 4:30 p.m. at Steve's Music Store, located at 51 Saint-Antoine West (Metro Place d'Armes) in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. No photos or filming will be allowed. Fans must come early if they want to meet Alexi.

For additional information on this event, please contact Gilles Dicaire at (514) 878-2216.

CHILDREN OF BODOM's new album, titled "Skeletons In The Closet", is scheduled for release on September 23 through Spinefarm. The follow-up to last year's "Blooddrunk" is a selection of cover versions, some of them existing recordings, others specially laid down for this release.

CHILDREN OF BODOM has been recording covers since the early days of its career, some predictably heavy ("Silent Scream" by SLAYER, for example),others reflecting an altogether broader taste ("Talk Dirty To Me" by POISON).

CHILDREN OF BODOM will return to North America this fall to headline a massive, month-long tour. The 20-city trek will launch on Friday, September 18 at Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel in Providence, Rhode Island and will run through October 14 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Support will come from THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER and SKELETONWITCH.
