January 23, 2010

Behind-the-scenes footage from the filming of CHILDREN OF BODOM frontman Alexi Laiho's new guitar instructional DVD for Rock House, the leader in music instruction, can be viewed below.

Alexi has already released two DVDs through Rock House — titled "Metal Guitar, Melodic Speed, Shred & Heavy Riffs Level 1 & 2" — and this third DVD, which is due out summer 2010, will feature guitar lessons that reach further inside his inspirational techniques.

Alexi has his own signature Model ESP guitar, has appeared on more than 50 magazine covers around the world, has made Guitar World's list of the top 100 metal guitarist of all time in 2004, and has appeared on the cover of Guitar World in January 2005 with Steve Vai and Zakk Wylde, which — along with his mastery of the guitar — have propelled him into one of today's most noted guitar players.

Rock House has developed an accelerated yet easy-to-use system of learning that utilizes the functionality of DVD and Print, integrated with the accessibility of the Internet. Aspiring musicians who have a product produced by Rock House receive free membership to www.rockhousemethod.com for 24-7 lesson support. Students use this fully interactive lesson site along with their product to enhance their learning experience, expand their knowledge, link them with instructors, and connect with a community of people around the world who are learning to play music using the Rock House Method.
