CHILDREN OF BODOM: Limited-Edition ALEXI LAIHO Guitar Due This Month

According to a posting on the CHILDREN OF BODOM fan site Scythes Of Bodom, a new and limited Alexi Laiho ESP guitar will be released this month. The guitar, which can be described as a mixture of the ESP SV-Standard and the ESP Alexi Laiho Sawtooth, will be made available in Finland in a limited editon of only 10 pieces.

The specifications are as follows:

Neck-thru-body / 25.5"
Body: Alder
Ebony Fingerboard w/Saw tooth inlays
24 Jumbo Frets
Katakana "Alexi" 12-fret inlay
Original Floyd Rose
Pickup: EMG HZ H-2 Pickup + MM04 Active Electronics
Hardware: Gold
Color: Black with yellow pinstripes

Alexi and fellow COB axeman Roope Latvala will make an appearance at the Swedish Metal Expo, which is set to take place September 1-2 in Stockholm. They will take part in guitar clinics and answer questions from fans.
