CHILDREN OF BODOM'S LAIHO Shows Off His Technique, Band Comment On Upcoming Tour

September 13, 2004

CHILDREN OF BODOM guitarist/vocalist Alexi Laiho is featured on Guitar World's inaugural CD-ROM insert in the magazine's November 2004 issue, currently on newsstands. Fans will be able to watch him run through various tracks step by step and see his technique in vivid detail.

As previously reported, CHILDREN OF BODOM will embark on a national U.S. tour alongside FEAR FACTORY, LAMB OF GOD and THROWDOWN this October. This will be the quintet's third U.S. tour in support of their highly acclaimed new album, "Hate Crew Deathroll". This trek, their last until the release of their next album, will also see the band performing a 45-minute set for the very first time in the U.S. The track "Needled 24/7" will also be featured on the new "MTV2 Headbanger's Ball Vol. 2" CD released this week.

CHILDREN OF BODOM bassist Henkka T. Blacksmith had the following to say regarding the upcoming tour: "So CHILDREN OF BODOM will return to the U.S. very soon. We have done a lot of shows over there lately, but we decided to do this tour because it's a very interesting package. We are looking forward to play with all three bands, and it's going to be an extremely heavy tour. It is very cool for us that we can be part of this package, and we hope to see all the COB fans there too. I am really looking forward to it."
