CHILDREN OF BODOM Track Covered By Finnish 'Humppa' Band: Audio Available

March 1, 2006

According to a posting on the CHILDREN OF BODOM fan site Scythes-of-Bodom.com, Finnish "humppa" band ELÄKELÄISET recorded a cover version of the CHILDREN OF BODOM song "Hate Me" for their new album, entitled "Humppasirkus", under the new name "Vihann Humppaa" ("I Hate Humppa"). The band is known for covering metal songs and incorporating humppa influences into the new versions. An audio sample of "Vihann Humppaa" is available at this location. ELÄKELÄISET also recorded a "great" humppa version of NIGHTWISH's "Nemo" single, re-titled "Jukolan Humppa", for the "Humppasirkus" album.
