Chile's BREAKDOWN Completes Work On 'Made Of Scars'

Chilean metallers BREAKDOWN have completed work on their new album, "Made Of Scars". The CD was produced by Pablo Stipicic (BLACKOUT, MPD) contains "10 tracks of metal and rock sound with more contemporary passages groove metal technique involving rhythms and melodic," according to a press release. Swedish guitarist Mike Wead of KING DIAMOND and MERCYFUL FATE was in charge of recording the vocals in Stockholm, Sweden while Kiko Loureiro of ANGRA makes a special guest appearance, playing the the guitar solo "Judas Be My Guest".

BREAKDOWN was formed in late 2006 when Johnny V joined approached his friend Eddie Montana, a Chilean who resides in Sweden, with the idea of creating a band with a sound that has never before been heard from a Chilean band.
