CHIMAIRA: Free Autographed Booklet With New Album Pre-Order

On Monday, March 5, Jägermeister will present the CHIMAIRA CD-release party at Peabody's Down Under in Cleveland, Ohio. Tickets will be free in advance and $5 at the door. First 50 attendees will receive a free t-shirt! A special raffle will also be presented to all concert-goers. CHIMAIRA's new CD, "Resurrection", will be played in its entirety sometime between 10:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. (midnight). CHIMAIRA's DVD will be screened on all the televisions within the venue. Jäger girls will also be in attendance giving away Jägermeister swag. Accompanying CHIMAIRA will be STEMM, WAITING FOR NEVER, FOREVER IN TERROR, and SCALERA. Attendees will get the first chance to buy CHIMAIRA's "Resurrection" CD at the stroke of midnight.

On Friday, March 9, CHIMAIRA will take part an in-store appearance at Magnolia Thunderpussy in Columbus. CHIMAIRA will sign autographs and give away tickets to the show at LC Pavilion along with other prizes. The band will also be signing CDs later that night at the show at the store's booth.

As previously reported, a three-part video interview with CHIMAIRA, conducted recently by Holland's Toazted.com, has been posted online at this location.

CHIMAIRA has just released five ringtones from the band's new album, "Resurrection", which are available from Ferret Music's web site. Tracks include "Empire", "Pleasure in Pain", "Resurrection", "Six" and "Worthless".

CHIMAIRA track "Worthless" has been posted online on the band's MySpace page. A video for the song "Resurrection" has been posted online at YouTube.com. The clip was directed by Todd Bell and features an appearance by Mixed Martial Arts fighter Mavrick.

The "Resurrection" single was made available for purchase earlier in the month. Fans can download/buy the single through various web stores like Napster and iTunes.

CHIMAIRA will team up with KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, DRAGONFORCE and HE IS LEGEND for a North American tour beginning tonight (Wednesday, February 21) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
