CHIMAIRA To Headline 'Chimaira Christmas 7' Concert

November 6, 2006

CHIMAIRA will headline "Chimaira Christmas 7" on Wednesday, December 27 at the House of Blues in Cleveland, Ohio. Tickets go on sale this week via Ticketmaster.

CHIMAIRA began recording its new CD, "Resurrection", on October 2 with the production team of Jason Suecof and Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, ARCH ENEMY). The group recently signed new deals with Ferret Music (North America) and Nuclear Blast (Europe) following its split with Roadrunner Records earlier in the year.

CHIMAIRA's last album, "Chimaira", was recorded at Spider Studios in Ohio with producer Ben Schigel.

CHIMAIRA's "Threnody", a leftover track from last year's self-titled LP, has been posted online at www.myspace.com/chimaira. The song appears on the "Masters of Horror II" soundtrack, which came out last month via Downtown Records.
